Topic:Teachers give too much homework (老师给太多作业)
Adolescence may be the best period of a person's life, when everyone is still youthful, and energetic. As everyone knows, sweet sixteen refers to the fact that "sixteen" is a joyful and lovely age where girls and boys are supposed to have fun. However,it turns out that at age sixteen, every student is working their hardest in school. They don't have freedom, only homework and assignments everyday.Younger students that go to elementary schools are also oppressed by homework.Teachers give too much homework and put too much pressure on all the students, making the school more competitive than ever.Students don't have the chance to relax, enjoy their youth, and they have to be diligent and work hard. This is tragical, and should be changed.Teachers should continue to give off homework each day,but they should consider the adequate amount of homework they should give to the students. It can make students's lives so much more better, and less exhausting. After all,a person may only live once.Youth doesn't come back once it's gone,so enjoy it while you have it.

Which is more important in life, knowledge from the books you read, or personal experience you gain in reality? The answer may vary from person to person. The young, educated may emphasize the former, and the old may stress the later. But in my opinion, they are of the same importance.
Experience is priceless. How to become an efficient secretary? How to prepare for your first child to come into the world? There is so much experience we need in careers, in life and even in academic studies. It helps one deal with the problems with ease and confidence. Especially activities and to accumulate experience of different kinds is more crucial.
Experience, however, is limited in terms of time and space. For one thing, it is impossible for anyone to experience all the important events and meet all the famous people. For another, as the speed with which skills are obsolete and new problems crop up is unprecedented because of the fast development of society, experience is far less adequate. Depending too much on it only leads to narrow-mindedness and prejudice.
One way to compensate for it is to read books. Books of various kinds can bring us almost unlimited additional experience. From books you can not only trace back to the wisdom of our antecedents, but keep up with the latest developments of science and technology. To be sure, it's secondhand experience. But it is the ideal supplement to our own limited experience. Few of us can travel around the world, or live long beyond one hundred years, but all of us can live many lives by reading books.
Both book knowledge and personal experience are essential. While experience makes one more resourceful, book knowledge makes one more learned.

It has been said,"Not everything that is learned is contained in books."Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books.

In general, knowldge gained from books has a wider range than that gained from experience. We now live in a world that typophile is no longer exorbitant, and that printed matters are readily available. In libraries ,we can learn nearly everything only if we have already acquired basic reading skills, philosophy, history, literatrue, physics, mathmatics, chemicals, biology, geography, and the list will go on.Unlike the experience of an individual that is limited by the range of that individual, books seem to have no limitation.Sitting inthe local library,we virtually can travel everywhere through an interesting geographic encyclopedia, and certainly, with nearly no expense at all.
On the other hand,it can be argued that sometimes knowlege gained from experience is much deeper and more comprehensive than that gained from books. It is quite true that not every thing is contained in books. How to deal with personal finance, how to cope with current social trends, even how to most effectively organize our own mind, and numerous other things can seldom be found thoroughly and comprehensively discussed in books,we have to gain the knowledge by our own experience. And the sad news is that even some knowldge that is contained in books usually needs further comprehension, mainly through experience.
As to which source is more important, the answers vary. Some knowldge can be obtained only through experience. It's hard to imagine we can have a good understanding of history without reading books. On the other hand, some knowldge can be obtained only through experience. When we try to learn to swim, merely a detailed manual of swimming skills, even abundantly filled with illustrations,is at most useless. We have to jump into the water and then gain the knowledge wiyh experience. We have to use books and experience as resouce simultaneously are equally important sources, and examples as such are numerous. Therefore,I think whether one source is more important than the other depends on circumstances.
