The world is changing too fast,and too many new things spring up everyday,I am not sure that I can grasp those up-to-date things.
Moreove,whether those current people and events are valuable enough for us to do the research is still undecided.Our lifetime is too limited to let us risk.
Most important,Histories make men wise,if we can learn the experience and lessons from the people lived before us,we can certainly save us a lot of trouble and can get a shortcut to where we want to go.

From my perspective I prefer to learn from people and events in the past First of all the experience in the past has been examined by many people in history. Just as Newton says” If I have been able to see further it was only because I stood on the shoulders of giants” it’s much easier to succeed by learning from people and events in the past. Furthermore we can make innovations by apply previous ideas to current situations. For example we can use a previous method of cooking to create a new food.
