The Spring Festival
The most important Chinese festival of the year is Spring Festival.It's the first day of the lunar year.
People are very happy in Spring Festival.They often have large dinners and watch special programs on TV with the family on the Lunar New Year's Eve.On the Lunar New Year's Day,people pay visits to relatives and friends.Children are very happy,too.They are in new clothes,and usually get some money,which is put in a red paper envelope from elder people.
In Spring Festival,you can see a lot of traditional programs too,such as lion dancing or dragon dancing.They wish people a happy New year and a bright future.It's very interesting.
My winter vocation
Today is January twenty—thirtieth .It’s the first day of the winter vacation .I got up very late at about half past nine .because
Ifelt litter tired.In normal times ,I must get up at six o’clock ,or I’ll be late for school.But now I am on vacation.I don’t have
to go to school.How wonderful !
During this vacation I will surely feel more light—hearted than when I am in school .I can do lots of interesting things that I wanted
to do but had no time to do .For example ,I can play basketball ,computer games and some other games .But of course ,I must always
remember that I am still a student .I still need to learn a lot of books ,gain a lot of new knowledge ,of course ,finish my homework
.I hope I will have a wonderful time during the winter vacation .
Now is nearly spring Festival ,It’s the most important festival in China .It’s on January .It’s according to the Chinese lunar
calender .On New Year’s Eve ,each family will gather together eating ,talking and watching TV for almost the whole night .And
there will be some interesting programmers on TV .The children are the happiest of all bceause they can get presents from their parents or grandparents .
I think this vointer vacation must be happy and plentiful !

My spring festival
This year I have a happy spring featival with my family.
On New Year's Eve,all the family people get together to have a big dinner in the resturant.During the dinner we have a small talk and play some games.We say some good hope to each other.For example,keep good healthe,try your best to do everything,have a good mood in this year,happy everyday and so on.
Thanks to this spring festival,it make our family people get toghther.We enjoy ourselves and in the new year we all fighting.

In the morning,I got up earlier and had breakfast fast.Then,I went to the nearest bathhouse with my father. On the way back home,we bought plenty of fireworks and firecrackers. What I liked most was a set of fireworks called Xingguangcuican in Chinese.I was told that It was beautiful enough to compete with any other kinds of fireworks. At three o'clock in the afternoon, we had a big meal. All the family members got togerther around the table.Beside my parents and me, there were my grandparents,my cousins and their parents.There were elven people altogether. During the dinner, we talked and laughed happily.At eight in the evening, we began to watch annual gala on CCTV. Needless to say ,everyone gave their comments on TV program.. The most exciting time came when it was half hour ahead of the middle night----the beginning of the new year. we all went out and lit the fireworks and fire crackers,which were exploding and lighting in the sky.
It would bring us good luck and fortune in the new year.What an unforgettable day! It will stay with me all of my life
The Spring Festival is the most important traditional one in China. As an important part of it, fireworks bring us happier atmosphere than usual. This Spring Festival, Dad bought lots of fireworks as last year. On the eve, he lighted them, and then they blossomed like flowers in the sky, with sweet sounds and brilliant light. How beautiful! I was deeply moved, though every Spring Festival I felt it. It brought me the beautiful feelings. At that moment I was buried in the sea of happiness. And also it made me feel more about the prosperity of our homeland.
Meanwhile, However, I was worried about the fireworks. First, setting off firecrackers made a tremendous noise and caused serious air pollution. Also children's safety faced the crisis of getting burned or injured in the eyes. What's worse, many dustmen's valuable time was wasted for fireworks pieces after being set off dirtied the environment.
So I thought some day we'll have to forbid making and setting off fireworks, though it's a Chinese custom for hundreds of years.
Spring festival is on the first day of the first lunar month. Chinese people most like the Spring Festival. During Spring Festival, Chinese people like having meals with their families, playing fireworks in the open air. My sisters and I played fireworks on that day. We had many fireworks. They were very beautiful. They were running into the sky and breaking into pieces. They looked like flowers in the sky. We were very happy and excited. After that, I made a wish. I hope that, we can have a happy and healthy life next year and everyone in my family can be happy.
I enjoy the festival very happy.
