1.Dogs can help people in many different ways.Most dogs are our friends and keep us company & protects us from intruders.They alert us if there may be an intruder around.Some dogs help people that are blind or handicapped.Dogs can be trained to be a helper for most jobs or used by the police in rescue works.
2.For the blind,dogs tend to help in daily tasks by picking up dropped items,picking up phones,pens,etc.Most dogs help with walking,and avoiding obstacles.They also have emergency response training,in the case of emergencies,the person falling,passing out,fires,floods,etc.The dog will call for help,assist the person to an exit,help the person to authorities,etc.Each dog is very specialized and adaptable to the person's needs and abilities.
