MANGO PUNTO FA S.L – which is 100% Spanish owned- is a renowned international company dedicated to the design,manufacture and marketing of clothing garments and accessories for women.Marketed under the renowned MANGO/MNG brands,PUNTO FA S.L now has a total of 5,500 direct employees and has become the second biggest Spanish export company in the textile sector.
MANGO’s headquarters are located in Palau-solità i Plegamans (Barcelona,Spain).With 1300 employees and a total constructed surface area of 103,000 m2,it houses a company-owned structure that includes design,production control,retail outlet distribution,advertising,in addition to administration and logistics.
Its own company and personnel philosophy,together with a sound business approach,has allowed MANGO/MNG to become a leading brand in the textile sector.
The origins of MANGO go back to the early 80s,when Isak Andic,the founder of the brand,had three stores in Barcelona (Isak,Roxy and Palmera).In those days,collections were classified according to trends.It was in 1984 when,faced with the opening of one of the company’s most emblematic stores (Paseo de Gracia),the need arose for the company to create its own unified brand.Hence the MANGO brand was created.Since then,MANGO’s expansion has been spectacular:the process of international expansion began in 1992 with the opening of two stores in Portugal,added to the 99 stores that already existed in Spain.Twelve years on,we have managed to become Spain’s most international company within the sector,with 860 stores in 80 countries,representing 235,000 m² of sales space,and a forecast turnover of 744,997,000 euros.
