you should check with someone who has knowledge of SQL server. I think that Incho could help on that.If I remember this, SQL2000 only works with Win2000. Or is it that SQL7 doesn't work with Win2000? You'll need to check this out.Here's what I would do if SQL7 works on Win2000:1. Install Win2000/SQL7.0 2. New installation of R/3 4.6B. 3. Old server database attached to above new installation.
