在我六岁的那一年春节，爸爸妈妈带我回厦门爷爷奶奶家过年。那是一个风和日丽的早上，我们乘坐轮渡来到举世闻名的美丽小岛----鼓浪屿。冬天的厦门却丝毫感觉不到一丝寒意，只见鼓浪屿的海滩上到处都是卷起裤管光着脚丫在海边戏水的游客。不顾妈妈的反对，我也脱去鞋袜，卷起裤管毫不犹疑的冲向细浪翻腾的沙滩，妈妈担心的大喊大叫，爸爸却“丝毫不以为然的”亦步亦趋的跟在我身后。

我刚学会了这么一点就主动提出跟爸爸比赛。首先，我先赢得宝贵的一分，爸爸也不甘示弱赶上了我。才打了20多分钟。我就累得已经不行了，我想到了参加奥运会的那些网球运动员，他们经历了千辛万苦才有今天的成果。我深深感到：梅花香自苦寒来。
这件事虽然过去了很长时间，但我仍记忆犹新，它时刻激励着我，因为那时让我懂得了学什么都不能放弃。
