I have many first-time experiences,first time cooking,first time swimming and so on.Among these experiences,I would like to share my first time to read a story.
When I was in Grade X,I had to read a novel during the summer vacation.It was difficult for me because I had never read any of English stories before.I was trapped in the beginning.I didn't really understand what was going on in the story.I was bored and annoyed with the book.So I threw it on the floor full of shame.
Then my father came into my bedroom and picked up that "poor" book.He told me not to let the book beat me.I calmed down and tried again.With my father's help,I finally finished reading the story.And I found it quite interesting.
Thanks to my father,I got a good start in reading English novels.I beat the novel but also learn that I shall never give up and keep trying.
