Some students like English,and other students like Spanish.
但是other如果接在物主代词、指示代词后面,也可以特指两者或两群中的另一个,如：
What is there in your other hand?
the other是特指两者或两群中的另一个,修饰可数名词.
I have two daughters.One daughter is two and the other daughter is four.
