Exercise. Exercising creates Endorphins, which stimulate creation of the chemical Dopamine, which makes you happy and it will help you stay in shape. Yes it is even harder to go and exercise while in a bad mood but challenging yourself to go and exercise helps
Eat healthy and enough food. Healthy food not only gives physical strength but also gives mental strength to carry on. Organic food is a good choice but there are many other types of food which are considered healthy example pasta, chicken, broccoli etc.
Chill. Take deep breaths; relax on a beanbag, whatever calms you down.
Do Something You Love. Spend everyday doing something that makes you smile, be it cooking, reading, or exercising. If all you can think of is watching the television, get out of the house and try something new!
Listen to Positive Music. Listening to upbeat, happy music while singing along or dancing will take the anger or sadness right out of you!
Do something that scares you. Try to do something that scares you (even a little) for example dancing on the street, approaching some cute girl and talking to her, lie down on the street etc (basically anything that scares you). Research has shown that when you do something like that it not only gives you confidence and develops an 'I don't care what people think about me' mentality but also makes your mood better almost instantly(its sometimes even more effective than drugs).
Don't Drink Alcohol. Drinking alcohol causes you to create excess Dopamine (the chemical that makes you happy), and the day after, your body can't produce enough to compensate, making you more depressed then usual- not to mention hung over.
Think About Something You Love. Thinking about sad or depressing things will bring you down. Cheer up with optimistic thoughts about something you have been excited about or something good that has happened.
Think of Others. There is nothing like forgetting yourself and looking for ways to help and serve others when you are feeling down. As bad as you are feeling, there is definitely someone in the world who is feeling worse. Even if you just go over to a friends' house and let them vent at you, it will be worth it. Moreover, if it is not, at least you made their day better.

As man in the modern age, our moods are as ehangable as the cars coming and going on the super-high way. A favor from a neighbour, a kiss of a child, a praise from others are like warm sunshine that makes us comfortable. Bat a rough word from a stranger, a false product bought from the store, or an insulting remark in fun would put you in a bad mood and make your heart sink. A good mood makes one happy, energetic and creative. I was once shut in an elevator for one and a half hours. I had to phone for help. Eventually I was released, it was fun because I was in a happy mood. Otherwise I would have felt miserable. A bad mood is bad enough to cause you to lose self-confidence and leaves you helpless with all your worries and troubles in mind. More often than not, we are in a mixed mood. Sometimes we are happy and high-spirited. Sometimes we are in low spirits. At this time we have to take courage and have a change of mood. A good mood will accompany you on your way to the palace of success, to the chamber of love and to pleasure and barmony in life. With a happy mood, we can live a more substantial life, one that is more interesting and meaningful. So, always remember to keep a happy mood wherever you go or whatever you do.
